SYNOPSIS: Guy meets girl. Guy goes home with girl. Guy wakes up and girl is convinced she's pregnant with the second coming.  Just another New York love story.

PRODUCTION DESIGN CONCEPT: We had to transform a beautifully decorated UWS bedroom into something out of Spanish Harlem. This meant getting rid of the luxurious bed, the substantial drapes and anything that said “Manhattan.” This was mostly a decorating job and in the decoration it was important to suggest the religiosity of the protagonist, without pointing fingers. We wanted to plant the seed, but not in a way that seemed extra-ordinary. A cross over the bed, a few knick-knacks on the dresser, this was enough. I didn’t want velvet paintings of Jesus or plastic Mary’s lit up from within. Because this short takes place in one room, it was also imperative to have a specific discussion of shots and angles before I began to design so that we weren’t repeating looks or staring at the cross over the bed for the entire movie.
